SONGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY - PART I

Today I will make a post about three songs that make me happy. I have a lot of songs that make me happy and music is one of the biggest reason I'm still here. It helped me and was here for me when nobody else was.

The first three songs that I will show you today are:

  1. Fireflight - What I've Overcome
  2. My Chemical Romance - S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W
  3. The All-American Rejects - Gives You Hell

FIREFLIGHT: What I've Overcome
I just love the lyrics to the song, it kind of keeps
me fighting when I'm down again.

"I'm not what I have done, I'm what I've overcome"

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE: S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W

My Chemical Romance is truly one of my favorite bands.
"S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W" really calms me down and I don't
really know why. I just love the instrumental in the songs,
Gerard Way's voice and of course also the lyrics.

"Count to seventeen and close your eyes,
I'll keep you save tonight"

THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS: Gives You Hell
I guess this is a song that everyone knows, it was released in
2007 or 2008 (I'm not sure, haha) and it was on the radio almost
everyday. I didn't understand the song because I was 12 years old
and I wasn't that good in English but it's my favorite 'letting go on
people who don't deserve you'-song. It really reminds me of someone
and yes, that might sound nasty, but I always think of the time
we had together and laugh instead of cry because I know
it's better that we're not that close anymore.

"Now you'll never see what you've done to me
You can take back you're memories, they're no good to me
And here's to all your lies, you can look me in the eyes
With that sad, sad look that you wear so well

When you see my face, hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell
When you walk my way, hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell"
